Almost Daily Cat Haiku

First winter has descended. Crashing through the final browning remnants of autumn still clinging to their branches and encasing our automobiles and patio furniture in its icy slag.  For those of you who haven’t satiated the annual cravings for pie spices and light sweaters, you needn’t fret. As I mentioned, this is only first winter, it will be fall again in a few days.

I do love this weather, though. A warm cat in your lap on a cold November morning is one of life’s finest offerings.
