I spent some time yesterday puttering in the vegetable garden. And Chai spent the same time screaming at me from the catio. She seemed to be under the impression that she should be let outside. I do not know why she thinks this. But she was very vocal about it.
I did planted vegetables! I have red tomatoes, and yellow tomatoes, and little tomatoes (thats all the tomatoes), and yellow squash, and zucchini, and basil, and celeriac (haven’t grown that before!), and basil, and marigolds! Always marigolds. I don’t think there’s any real scientific reason for marigolds in the veggie garden, but it’s just always been done that way. And who am I to break with tradition. At least, when we’re talking about a harmless tradition like planting marigolds in the veggie garden. There’s plenty of other “traditions” out there in the world that I am more than willing to break with. But right now I’m just talking about little stinky orange flowers. I got no beef with them. They cool.
But anysnarf, have a Monday everyone! Drink water, be kind, and we’ll all try to get through this together.
