(this one goes to eleven)

This is Mr. Figgs. Mr. Figgs doesn’t have a tail. But he does have ridiculously adorable toe-beans. It is hard to Haiku a cat with ridiculously adorable toe-beans without focusing on said toe-beans. Luckily, Mr. Figgs is overflowing with general cuteness and exudes inspiration. I would call him my muse, but he doesn’t know what that means and I don’t want him to feel like he’s not fulfilling some lofty expectation and therefore inadequate in some way. It’s important for cats to know they are awesome. This knowledge is not difficult for cats to acquire. It is more of an innate instinct.
This was meant to be yesterday’s Cat Haiku, but I missed my self-imposed and arbitrary deadline. So, you get it on a Wednesday. And if the middle of the week was deserving of a particular cat habit, napping in the sun would be on the shortlist.
Take some time today to curl up in a warm sunbeam and nap. Your boss is cool with it. Probably.
